Thinking about the Sons of the American Revolution?

I can’t tell you the number of times people come to me and ask if they can join the Sons or Daughters of the American Revolution. Some at least have some family lore or documentation that hints at an Ancestor who fought for our country’s independence. Others have the desire to join, but no understanding of how much work and time it can take. Others may have a hand written family tree with limited supporting documentation.
